At L. Foundation School, we much prefer to say, "Great people don't do different things, they do them differently."

It would be quite true to say: Foundians have been living that principle and doing things differently since day one. It would be accurate to say, in many ways, it is habit. Perhaps even, the very essence of what makes a Foundian tick.

Every institution, every organization, every group of people has something at its very core that makes it tick. Something essential and unique that makes it tick ever so differently from the host of others out there.

LFS is no different. We have a tick, a rhythm, a sound that is ours and is shared with none. And though that tick may be difficult to name or tangibly touch, it is known by and resonates within every individual who has passed through our doors. It can most notably be seen in a Foundian's smile, as all our pictures reveal.

L. Foundation School founders like to call that tick, educare.

Educare is actually the combination of terms in one of our institution's essential philosophies, educating with care.

We aim to provide our students with a solid foundation in all aspects of schooling as well as a loving, caring and happy childhood.

Our Values

We do have standards and values we would like to see instilled in all those who pass through our doors.

Among those are a desire that Foundians be recognized by their character, manners, conduct, bearing, carriage and values.

Additionally, we hold inclusiveness among our highest priorities and deliberately foster an environment that encourages pupils to value people for who they are rather than what limitations they may or may not have.

Finally, we also encourage one another to "try to give a little bit more than expected." Surely, this is something that allows us to contribute to the human race for its benefit as well as our own.
